Frana in Cadore, il sindaco di Cortina: non c'è stato alcun preallarme

INSERITO DA MORENA MOTTA Il corpo del turista polacco travolto dalla frana in Cadore è stato individuato poco fa dai vigili del fuoco di Belluno.
Lo sfortunato escursionista si trova a poche decine di metri dal luogo, sul greto del torrente Rusecco, dove i pompieri erano riusciti ieri sera a salvare la moglie. Sono in corso le operazioni per il recupero del corpo anche con l'ausilio dei carabinieri. Un ulteriore allarme nel frattempo è stato dato per un'altra auto investita dallo smottamento. I vigili del fuoco stanno procedendo alle verifiche. La coppia stava dormendo in macchina, quando la frana ha trascinato la loro auto a valle assieme ad altre quattro vetture, una portata dalla massa di sassi e acqua fino a San Vito.
Durante le ricerche del compagno della ragazza estratta viva dalla sua macchina trascinata dalla frana, è stato rinvenuto il corpo di un'altra vittima. Una ragazza di 14 anni il cui corpo è stato recuperato un chilometro circa a valle della briglia dove si è fermata l'auto della coppia di turisti polacchi.
Una terza vittima della frana di San Vito di Cadore, dopo le due già accertate stamane - un turista polacco e una ragazza - è stata scoperta poco fa dai vigili del fuoco. Si tratta - riferiscono i pompieri - di un uomo. Il corpo è stato individuato nei pressi del fiume Boite. La vittima avrebbe circa 40 anni, riferiscono i soccorritori. Il corpo, privo di vestiti, è stato rinvenuto alla confluenza tra il torrente Ru Secco e il Boite.
L'assessore di San Vito di Cadore. «Il bilancio delle vittime è ancora provvisorio. Si sta verificando la situazione lungo il Rusecco ed il Boite, nei pressi delle auto travolte, per verificare se, oltre ai 3 morti, ce ne sono altri». Così Andrea Fiori, assessore comunale di San Vito di Cadore. «Ho ancora qualche preoccupazione, speriamo di no» ha auspicato, specificando che «ingenti sono anche i danni materiali, in particolare intorno alla seggiovia che è stata distrutta, per cui è necessaria l'immediata dichiarazione dello stato di calamità: da soli non ce la facciamo, Regione Veneto e Stato ci devono aiutare». A mezzogiorno è iniziato un vertice in Comune organizzato dalla prefettura di Belluno.
Riaperta la strada statale 51 di Alemagna, che collega la pianura a Cortina d'Ampezzo (Belluno). In particolare, la riapertura è avvenuta poco dopo la mezzanotte e dalle prime ore di questa mattina l'Anas, che ne dà notizia, ha eliminato anche il presidio fisso di assistenza alla viabilità poichè la circolazione è ritornata regolare. In corrispondenza della frana di Borca di Cadore la movimentazione della colata detritica del monte Antelao aveva fatto scattare il sistema di allarme e la connessa procedura di protezione civile, con interdizione automatica del traffico mediante semaforo sulla statale 51 e la viabilità è rimasta chiusa per circa 50 minuti. Inoltre, in corrispondenza del Ponte sul Rio Rudan nel comune di Vodo di Cadore, si è verificata una colata detritica di circa 50mila metri cubi che è stata contenuta dalle opere di protezione realizzate dai Servizi forestali regionali e dalle arginature e dai rinforzi strutturali predisposti dall'Anas. Infine, Anas comunica che per consentire una maggiore fluidità della circolazione nella zona del Cadore a partire dalle 16.00 di oggi sarà ripristinato il transito sul ponte Cadore, dove erano in corso lavori programmati di manutenzione straordinaria e vigeva un restringimento di carreggiata.
Il sindaco di San Vito di Cadore. «Non c'era nessuna previsione che indicasse che quella situazione fosse pericolosa. Abbiamo guardato la carta della Protezione civile e dava tutto per tranquillo, quindi evidentemente nelle cime la situazione è cambiata e dobbiamo prenderne atto». Lo ha detto il sindaco di San Vito di Cadore, Franco De Bon in merito alle colate di detriti e fango provocate dall'imprevisto e violento acquazzone ieri sera. «Devo ringraziare il soccorso alpino perché in condizioni proibitive hanno risalito il corso del torrente Russecco e sono andati a recuperare questa ragazza che sporgeva da un ammasso di lamiere. È stata una cosa incredibile anche dal punto di vista della pericolosità», ha commentato De Bon. «Ho visto le fotografie delle macchine recuperate lungo il torrente e sembravano passate con il tritacarne. Ora - ha concluso il sindaco - vi è un grosso cumulo di materiale proprio presso la pista, che è molto mobile. Ne sto parlando con il genio civile. Non vorrei che un' ulteriore precipitazione lo portasse a valle».
Il sindaco di Cortina. «È scioccante l'immagine, ripresa dall'elicottero, di quanto è avvenuto ieri sera a San Vito di Cadore. Sono immagini che mettono i brividi». Lo ha detto Andrea Franceschi, sindaco di Cortina. «Si capisce, vedendo quanto è accaduto, la fragilità del nostro territorio, ma anche - ha ammesso il sindaco - l'impotenza di fronte a questi eventi». «L'evento calamitoso, infatti, è avvenuto in una zona che non era considerata a rischio e la giornata di ieri non faceva temere il peggio, dal punto di vista meteo, tanto che - ha puntualizzato - non è arrivato alcun allarme». «Tutto questo ci angoscia», ha concluso.
«Il ministro dell'Ambiente Gian Luca Galletti segue costantemente la situazione di emergenza meteorologica che ha colpito il Cadore». Lo rende noto il ministero dell'Ambiente in una nota. «Dalle ore immediatamente successive alla bomba d'acqua e agli eventi franosi - si legge - il ministro è in contatto con il capo della Protezione Civile Fabrizio Curcio e con la Prefettura di Belluno per un aggiornamento in tempo reale sulla situazione».
