INSERITO DA MICHELE PAPPACODA Era rimasto bloccato in ascensore con la mamma ed è precipitato durante le operazioni di trasbordo. Così sarebbe morto il bimbo di 5 anni precipitato nel vano ascensore della metro A di Roma, alla stazione Furio Camillo.
Dalle prime informazioni, sembra che personale della stazione li abbia raggiunti attraverso un elevatore parallelo che ha una porta comunicante, ma tra i due ascensori ci sarebbe uno spazio al centro: il bimbo è precipitato per circa 15 metri. Sulla vicenda sono in corso indagini dei Carabinieri e la Procura ha aperto un'inchiesta.
"C'è stato un errore dell'agente della stazione che ha posto in essere una procedura che non doveva, forse perché c'erano condizioni difficoltà e alla fine c'è stata la tragedia". Così l'assessore ai Trasporti di Roma Capitale Guido Improta. "L'ascensore era bloccato e si è tentato un trasbordo delle persone: l'ascensore bloccato è stato affiancato da un altro elevatore, si è cercato di fare un trasbordo delle persone attraverso una botola. Una procedura non codificata. E' stato un eccesso di generosità dell'agente di stazione che poi si è trasformato in una tragedia".
Il sindaco Ignazio Marino è arrivato alla stazione e sta incontrando la mamma del bimbo morto. La stazione di Furio Camillo è stata chiusa.
"E' stata appena nominata una commissione Atac di tre persone, che si aggiunge alle indagini in corso delle autorità competenti". Lo riferisce Giuseppe Noia dell'ufficio comunicazione dell'Atac. "Non è un problema di manutenzione degli ascensori. Non credo sia questo, sono in corso le indagini".
