Solenni festeggiamenti in onore di Maria SS. delle Grazie

Come ogni anno arrivano i festeggiamenti solenni in onore di Maria SS. delle Grazie, una comunità intera unita nel sentito bisogno di rievocare la vittoria del bene sul male… della luce sul buio.

“Una voce con tono materno, proveniente dalla luce, disse:

«Non aver più paura: il demonio è stato sconfitto ed i suoi sforzi

contro questo monte sono finiti, perché io ho distrutto lo spirito maligno.»

Ecco che in questo passo dell’antica leggenda nasce la speranza, una donna vestita di sole distrugge il serpente maledetto.

In uno scenario unico viene rappresentata l’antica lotta attraverso un gioco di luci, suoni e proiezioni. L’atmosfera suggestiva attira ogni anno fedeli e curiosi che incantati scoprono e rivivono il miracolo di quell’apparizione.

PROGRAMMA

22 giugno

- Ore 19.00 esposizione della statua della Madonna e Santa Messa

23 giugno – 1° luglio:

- Ore 18.30 novena e Santa Messa

1° luglio

- Ore 08.00 arrivo dello Storico Gran Concerto Bandistico “Citta di Ailano” diretto dal Maestro Nicola Hansalik Samale

- Ore 11.00 Santa Messa

- Ore 19.00 Santa Messa e processione del SS. Sacramento

- Ore 21.00 il suddetto Concerto Bandistico eseguirà uno scelto programma di musica sinfonica

2 luglio

- Sante Messe ore 6.30(*) con la partecipazione del Comitato Festa – 7.30(*) – 9.00 – 11.00

- Ore 10.00 matinèe musicale sul sagrato della Chiesa

- Ore 19.00 processione della statua della Madonna; al termine Messa solenne all’aperto

- Ore 21.00 il suddetto Concerto Bandistico eseguirà uno scelto programma di musica sinfonica

- Ore 23.30 RIEVOCAZIONE DELLA LEGGENDA DI MONTEPERTUSO

9 luglio

Conclusione dei festeggiamenti:Ore 20:00 Santa Messa e reposizione della statua.

L’illuminazione è curata dal Comitato Festa

L'addobbo floreale è curato e offerto dalla ditta Posaflora

(*) La società Flavio Gioia effettuerà delle corse straordinarie con partenza da Piazza dei Mulini

Display of the statue of the Madonna and Holy Mass

June 23rd – july 1:

6:30PM novena and Holy Mass

July 1st

8AM Arrival of the marching band of Ailano directed by M° Nicola Hansalik Samale

– 11.00 Holy Mass

7PM Holy Mass and Procession of the Holy Sacrament

9PM Marching band will perform

July 2nd

Holy Masses 6:30 – 7:30 – 9:00– 11:00 (the Festival Committee will partecipate at 6:30)

10AM Musical matinèe performer by the marching Band of Ailano, in front of the church

7PM Procession of the statue of the Madonna, throughout the town followed by the Solemn Mass, in front of the church

9PM symphonic music performer by the marching band,

11:30PM Re-enactment of the legend of Montepertuso

July 9^th

Conclusion of the festivities:8pm Holy Mass and repose of the Statue

The lighting is prepared by the Festival Committee,

The floral decorations are prepared and offered by the Posaflora company.

(*) The Flavio Gioia company will add extra buses departing from Piazza dei Mulini.

The Legend of Montepertuso

Ancient tradition says that in the 7^th
century After Christ, in the village of Montepertuso in Positano, few people lived
having arrived from the Orient. They lived in the caves of the mountains that
surrounded the village, they eat the
food that they hunted in the nearby forests and wore their own skins. One night
they were awakened by very close, long and loud thunder. Having come out from
their caves, they remained speechless.

A bright light with an central image
appeared on the 3rd mountain radiating warmth and peace to all human beings.

A young girl was the first to be wrapped in
this supernatural light.

A maternal voice, coming from the light,
said: “Don’t be afraid. The devil has been defeated and his efforts against this
mountain are over because I have destroyed the evil spirit. Remnants of his
snake-shaped body are visible on the other side of the mountain, etched in the
rock. Come, then, with me and accompany me to the mountain, where we will stay
forever”.

So, coming down from the mountain, everyone
was illuminated by the true light in the
spirit, they gathered to the new divine
sign and stayed until its dwelling. Even nowadays, the outline of the cursed
snake still exists in the sunken rock ,so perfect that it is impossible to
imitate.

The mountain was ‘holed’ by the index
finger of the Madonna, still visible and intact today, and from here derives
the name of the village.

There, on that mountain (now no longer a
forest, but an enchanted olive grove) was built the S. Maria delle Grazie
Church.

La leggenda di Montepertuso

Un’antica tradizione narra

che nel VI secolo dopo Cristo, nell’attuale frazione Montepertuso di
Positano, vivevano pochi abitanti
giunti dall’Oriente. Essi abitavano nelle grotte dei

monti circostanti la
località, si cibavano della selvaggina che cacciavano nelle

foreste viciniori e
vestivano delle loro pelli. Una notte furono svegliati da lungo

e inaudito tuonare molto
vicino. Usciti dalle loro grotte, rimasero senza parole…

Una luce splendente con al
centro un’immagine apparve al terzo monte

irradiando intorno calore e
pace per tutti gli esseri viventi.

Una ragazza di pochi anni fu
per prima avvolta in questa luce soprannaturale.

Una voce con tono materno,
proveniente dalla luce, le disse: «Non aver

più paura: il demonio è
stato sconfitto ed i suoi sforzi contro questo monte

sono finiti, perché io ho
distrutto lo spirito maligno. Resti del suo corpo a

forma di serpente sono
visibili sull’altro versante del monte, impressi nella

roccia viva. Vieni, dunque,
con me e accompagnami sulla collina della selva

Santa, ove ci fermeremo per
sempre».
